Devil’s Tower

Today we took a beautiful drive across northern Wyoming and stopped to explore Devil’s Tower National Monument.
We hiked around the tower through Ponderosa Pines and watched 2 groups of climbers descending from the top.
After lunch we hit the road and these two were asleep in about 2 minutes.
DT is quite a sight. Are there still prairie dogs around the base? Remember it so well. Also prominately featured in Close Encounters of a Third Kind. On to the Badlands.
